Entangled Intelligences explores how the presence of diverse, non-human constituencies — from the biological to the synthetic — invites us to expand our thinking on the interrelationships among species and the resulting impacts on our understanding of science futures. By looking at intelligence as an emergent property shared across systems, we explore how interspecies ecologies — the interactions between humans, nature, and synthetic intelligences — will shape the trajectory of where science is taking us. Weaving together research threads across existing and emerging sectors, our gathering is designed to cohere and deepen existing frameworks and catalyze new possibilities.
