Forrest worked with the Long Now beginning in 02016 as the Video Director and Editor. He collaborated with the video team to make the cinematic lectures Long Now has produced since 02020.

Forrest is an environmental documentary filmmaker and the films he has produced, shot or edited have been broadcast nationally, won accolades and awards, and have helped to drive positive change in our chaotic world.

Forrest is a father, member of his town’s Sustainability Commission, and a wilderness Search and Rescue team member.
