Brooke is the Director of Operations at The Long Now Foundation. Her career over the past 15+ years has centered on authentically connecting people to mission-driven organizations and striving to make life more humane, starting with the workplace. In her work fueling arts, education, and civic tech nonprofits, Brooke has supported the lifecycle of an organization’s people power, managed many aspects of fundraising and donor engagement, and built systems to ensure that organizations of all sizes run smoothly. In her free time she engages in an activity she calls "supposing" — an exercise in understanding why humans are the way they are.
