Dr. Anton Hasell (Long Now member 5807) is director of Australian Bell p/l and an Adjunct Professor at RMIT University Melbourne. His professional practice as an artist includes new bell design, sound-sculpture, sculpture and printmaking. Australian Bell has been commissioned to create to a number of public-space artwork projects which include the ‘Federation Bells Carillon’ in Birrarung Marr Park Melbourne and the design, casting and tuning of the Long Now Foundation’s 10,000 Year Clock bells.

Australian Bell collaborates with communities to create multi-sensory public-space experiences designed to bring community members together through creative-play installation artworks for improving community wellbeing.
