Over the past decade, Bryan Campen has served as a media advisor to Long Now, both in the development of its online presence, standalone events and Seminars About Long-term Thinking.
As founder and managing director of Transit Communication, Campen advises a range of corporate, aerospace, government and nonprofit clients on media, branding and crisis communication issues.
From 02012 to 02015, Campen served as director of media and public relations at XCOR Aerospace, a spacecraft manufacturer headquartered in Mojave, California, with offices in Texas, Amsterdam and Hong Kong. Campen directed all media and public relations, corporate brand development and major media sponsorships, and led its global crisis response group through major industry incidents.
Prior to that, Campen worked as new media director at multiple marketing and media firms in Chicago, while also serving at Obama for America headquarters in Chicago during President Obama's first White House bid in 02008.
He lives in Chicago with his wife and two children.
